Hi!
I Haven’ Heard from you for ages!  How’s it  going?
It’s amazing you’re going tu run a marathon.  You that always tell us that you will never get into a career or any kinf of sports that involve runnig. It’s Fantastic! About the marathon you will need to get fit before it and go running, but you must leave 3 days per week to relax, secondly when you run you have to breathe through the mouth or nose but never breathe with both. And finally, the day of the marathon you don’t use any new clothes or shoes, its better that all you equipment has been used at least 15 days.
It’s true that I take part in the London Marathon last year; I ended up being in the top 30 among more than 200 people. Write soon!
Well, I better go. It’s lunch time and my brother is starting to get angry because I am using his computer.
Good luck in the marathon!
Mark

Luis Aleixandre

Lluis Aleixandre               frightening story

I remember the last winter; I went to La Masella sky station with my friends for skying one day, there a strange thing occurred.
While we were waiting for the chair lifts I leaved the snowboard for a moment in the floor and when I looked for it, I saw a big animal taking it away, me and my friends started to run for that kind of monster we saw, it was big, agile, sneaky, terrible and white, it confuse with the snow. So we could see he entering into a cavern. At that moment we didn't thought the consequences of going there, so we went into. We seen the monster it was like the famous yeti, at the same moment Guillem yelled -I got snowboard, get out from this hell!                                       I remember nothing more, I got incontinent.
I waked up in the middle of the snowed forest, my friend were around me, they explained me the history because I couldn’t remember what happend, and that Mark was going for help. After that a rescue team bringed us to the sky station again.

Hi Jimmy!

Thanks for your email . It was great to hear from you!

I'm very happy that you want to participate in a Gorilla Fun Run. Normally, people do not usually encourage to do it!

My experience in the London Marathon last year was really exciting because I had a good time with other friends that also came. It was fun to run dressed as a gorilla!

My advice would be: do not take it very seriously, you should go to have fun, but if you want to get fit for the run, you have to practice a lot before and count your time.
After the London Marathon I will wait for your news!

About me, I'm still studying here in New York and I love this city! I want to live here forever.

Well, I'd better go. My dog wants to get out.

Write soon,
Mark

PS Thanks for ask me to some advice!

Hi Jimmy!

Thanks for the email. It’s been fantastic to know about you again! Its years since I don’t hear from you!

It’s great to know that you’re going to take part in that charity run. If you want to get fit for the run you should start jogging either in the street or in a gym and, if possible, going cycling. Moreover, if I were you I’d go swimming or simply go for a daily stroll for your legs to get used to exercise. Besides, you ought to eat healthy and have a balanced diet. Finally you should avoid skipping meals and you must stay away from junk food!

You won’t believe that but I’m going to take part in that run as well! I decided a week ago with a friend of mine.

That’s all for now. I’d better go.

All the best,

Mark

Hi, Jimmy!

I was so happy to read your e-mail! It’s great to hear from you after so long! Here there are no big news, everything’s pretty much the same.

I was really surprised to read that you are taking part in that race: you’ve never been very keen on sports! Well, I guess it’s never too late to start getting fit! However, I recommend you to begin from this same moment. If I were you, I would start by doing some jogging: it’s the best way to get fit. You shall set a lasting period of ten minutes for the first week and increase it little by little; otherwise, you will burn out on your first day. After some time, you may join a gym and work out too –having a personal coach can help you.

I’m considering the idea of visiting you on this Christmas holidays, would you like that? That way I can help you with your training and, besides, I promised Ellie I would drop by someday.

Wishing you all the best,

Mark.

Hi! How are you doing? I am happy you could finally write. I know you were studying hard for your final exams last week. That's why I didn't bother you sooner. Do you have good feelings about them?

You will never believe what happened to me last weekend. My parents, my brother and I went to the mountain to spend some time together. Mum says that with school and all this stuff we don't talk too much. We don't look like a joined family, she says. Well, during the trip everything looked cool, but everything changed when we arrived. The weekend turned up amazingly boring! Ok, they planed the trip, but not the activities to do! We were at the house all the day, and moreover, without TV or even radio!

I know you are always going camping so I was wondering if you could give us some ideas about what to do once we are there. I truly need your help because my parents are thinking to go there every weekend!

Well, I should go. Dad is calling me! He is probably having problems with the Microsoft Office again.

That's all for now,

John

Gorilla fund-raising marathon.

Hi there,
How’s it going?  I’m glad to hear that all’s well. I’m so happy to see, that you and Ellie are going to take part in this marathon! It’s a great opportunity. As you may of have heard, it contributes to save the remaining gorillas in captive camps in Africa.

On the advice, I would go to a nutritionist; they will give you a more detailed programme of what food is more suitable for you .Another thing that you could do, would be to plan a daily exercise routine and stick to it. Don’t put too much pressure on your body, but if you need it get a Personal trainer.

By the way, Lisa and I, are toying up with the idea of christening Erik, so we would be very glad if you and Ellie, would be his god-parents. It’s not yet clear, but let me know if it’s fine with you.

Well, I’d better go, the baby is crying and I’m alone at home. I hope that you do well in the marathon and that we keep more often in contact.

All the best,
Jimmy
PS: Give my kiss to Ellie.

Hi!

It’s great to hear from you. I hope everything it’s ok.

There’re many ways to keep fit but the best one is to be regular with the exercise at least one hour per day. Nevertheless, if you want to run a seven kilometres race you should train harder.

Nowadays, there exist many ways of exercise your body and I hardly think that you have to get fun while you do exercise. If you combine it with a good diet, I’m sure that you’ll have good results in the Fun Race.

Buy the way I have heard that there’s a new fabulous gym in the centre and not only it’s cheap but also there’re a lot of activities such as dances from others countries, spinning,..

I leave you. My brother needs the computer.

See you,

Mark

PS/ Let me know how it goes the race

Hi Jimmy!

Thank you for your email. It has Been fantastic hearing about you!

I think it's a great idea to participate in a marathon. The best way to stay fit is to do 1 hour of exercise daily which is something that is very important for our body. You can make a series of activities at home or in the gym. The most important thing is to follow everyday routine that alongside a healthy diet! It will help you on the day of the competition.

Oh, guess what? I've now joined a basketball team! You know I had been toying with this idea for a long time so finally I did it. It's great, everyone is amazing and we have won a cup!

Hope to hear from you soon!

Take care,

Mark

Hello!

It's nice to hear from you! I was thinking to write you soon.

It's true that I took part in the London Marathon last year and this is something that if I could I'd repeat. Well, basicly this is an activity for having fun so I recommend you to let the shame in your house. Obviously, this will be better if you win the marathon. If you are toying with this idea, you have to do sport like running a few hours per day or going to the gym. However, the best way to be fit for this is training everyday in the places that the marathon is going to take place, like if you were taking the marathon.

There's not a lot of brand new things about me. I've just finished my first term exams and now I'm working on my investigation project. Please, give me news when you finish the marathon.

I'd better go. My investigation project is waiting for me.

All the best,

Mark

PS My parents send their best wishes.

Thank you for your email. I was happy to hear from you, how’s life?

I will try to give you some tips that were useful to me, you should prepare for the race if you want to win and you should train. Spend some time in your life to exercise and practice and know how to breathe while running. You could also supplement your workouts with a healthy balanced diet.If I were you I start with simple exercises and after with hard exercises like running over 30 minutes every day.I encourage to you to be more fit and win the Gorilla Fun Run!

You will never belive this but I lost 5 kilos in a week thanks to an innovative and hard diet. I can send , if you want, more information about this. Well I hope you will spend great.

Take care,

Mark

PS We still have to plan our trip and say Hi to Ellie.

Hi Jimmy!

How's life? Hope all's well.

Thaks you for your email. That's true, I have really been so much time without hearing from you!

I think it's a fantastic idea to take part in a Marathon. It can be a funny way to do exercise, what is very important for us. Actually, if you want to participate, you should be prepared for it. The best way to get ready is doing exercise everyday 'till the running. You should start for something light and be progressing to get ready. If I were you, I will stretch before doing anything, it's very important.

I'm now in Londos again! I haven't been here since the Marathon. You'll never belibe this but I'm in a music grup and we're recording here our firt CD. It's beeing an amazing expeerience! Hope you listen for us!

Oh! They are calling me, I'd better go. It can be important.

Take care,

Mark

Hi!

Thank you for your email. I can’t believe how long it's been seen we last talked. It's great to hear from you!

I think the best way to get fit is to exercise everyday for just 30 minutes. Although it’s just a short time if it's intense then you're sure to be ready for the Fun Run. The work out should be a mixture of things. Start of warming up for 5 minutes and make sure to stretch. Then you could run around the block for 20 minutes and finish of cooling down with some more stretches. Follow that routine everyday alongside a healthy diet and you'll be more that ready!

Talking about getting fit I've now joined a swimming team! I've been meaning to for ages and finally I have.
It’s great, everyone is really friendly. Oh, guess what? I've already won a medal.

Well good luck with the Run!

Best wishes,

Mark
