GIRLS AND BOYS SHOULD BE TAUGHT SEPARATELY
A few years ago the most common thing in schools was that girls and boys have been studying separately. Nowadays, it is quite an odd thing that both genders study separately because of the changes in mentalities over time. For that reason it is interesting to consider the arguments both for and against it.
One of the main advantages is that boys and girls can follow different study plans appropriate to their capacities given that they don’t have the same learning pattern. Moreover, the gender discriminations and studies competitions rarely appear in schools where both genders are taught separately. In mixed schools, some students enjoy themselves doing nonsense competitions trying to put in ridiculous the opposite gender.
On the other hand, to be taught separately doesn’t prepare them for the real world as they will share every day whit people of the opposite gender. Another argument against teaching separately is that the opinions decrease and the quality of learning becomes poorer. If we analyze a rich an excellent debate we also find people of both genders because of the extensive field of opinions you have to share and the different possible ways to focus on an idea.
From my point of view, boys and girls shouldn’t be taught separately in order to get in touch with real life situations and learn different ways to understand the world. I strongly feel that most students also prefer to be mixed whit the opposite gender at school to open up their social circles.
