A few years ago, girls and boys were taught separately. Nowadays, this education system is still done used in some schools. Nevertheless, there are arguments both for and against it.
One of the main advantages is that students can be taught being while they are concentrated on the studies and not other things like relationships. Another argument in favour of teaching separately is that there's are no discussions between boys and girls in certain critically years (explain yourself!). A further advantage of this is that students are with other students from the same sex and they have more confidence among themselves.
Furthermore,Furthermore means "además"! Use On the other hand, however,... being taught separately means that the students haven't got the opportunity to know everyday the other sex. Another drawback of that is that students have to share conversations and games together because in a future they will have to share everything in their work and in their social life.
In my view, boys and girls shouldn't be taught separately because it is better that they have friendship. I strongly feel that it is always good to have a female and a male opinion.
Be careful with the use of "furthermore". Don't use contractions.
